I'm passing through Europe in a week and, never having made the trip before with a laptop, was wondering what sort of supplemental goods I might need. Apple sells the worldwide adapter kit, but is it really necessary? Likewise, can I be certain that the different volt ratings will be compatible with my PB?
My machine is a 12" Rev C G4, and I plan to start in the Netherlands before dipping down into Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. Any help would be appreciated, as I'm really quite clueless as to what I would need. Thanks guys.

Your adapter is multi-voltage compatible. The kit just comes with the different plugs.

Take care of it, I unknow the reason, but there is a huge number of steals on some places in Europe, mainly the Netherlands, check the stolen Macs section here:

Just take care, there are evil people everywhere. I have suffered it recently with a SGI workstation, go figure.

True, but Dutch girls are hot. So it's worth the risk.
So I should be fine as is? Thanks guys. I wasn't looking forward to stretching my savings any further.

Don't know how much websurfing you'll be doing, but if you're going to be using wireless access, then a helpful website is www.jiwire.com. They also have an OS X app that will help you in finding the local WiFi access - both free and for pay sites.
