This vegas "double life" is very alluring, and I would love some adventure.

I wonder if its possible. I can make more than enough per day at the casino to pay for hotel and meals with maybe 2-3 hours of casino time (done it consistently before hehe). hmmm. This may be the beginning of my new vegas high-roller double life

.. And I'll be found by the vegas authorities limp in some alley pummelled to death.. d'oh.
I live my life one cool toy at a time.

Did you read "Bringing Down the House" yet? (this article was an excerpt from it)..

I read it on the way to Vegas (perfect timing!) and was well worth reading. Very interesting stuff...

it doesnt work anymore.

there are hardly ANY single deck blackjack places. traditional "shoe" tables with 4 or 5 decks are hard to come by too.

they all use these auto shuffler things. they reshuffle the cards from EVERY hand back into the autoshuffler where they are completely remixed back into however many decks they store in that thing. counting doesnt work in this case.

ive never been a counter, but its easy to tell when playing when theres gonna be a hot spot in the deck/shoe. with this new system, its pretty much completely random.

I have been to vegas recently, and while single decks are hard to come by, 'continuous shufflers' are rare and avoidable.

'Automatic Shufflers' which simply shuffle the shoe for the dealer are more common, but don't affect the ability to count.

Counting is possible, but difficult, and casinos are VERY on to it, especially when you try to make glaring advantage plays (splitting tens, eg)

And Yes, bringing down the house is a great read-
