iMovie3:
  • two video tracks
  • six total audio tracks
  • better text generator
  • all current GeeThree, Virtex plug-ins will break

Pure speculation, btw.

I'm hoping for an update to the iBook line... I have some money ready to roll the minute Steve mentions either a speed increase or special edition g4 model...

I'll probably be holding on to my money if my gut feeling comes true...

I don't know if we'll ever see these kinds of advances for iMovie. Apple doesn't want to risk cannibalizing Final Cut Pro sales.

maybe, but knowing France's work schedule, they'll take off and end the broadcast half way through.

I avoid like the plauge European airlines or European airports (UK and British Air not included). They're often on strike when I need to travel, so it's worth it to go with London and BA or a US airline (as hellish and crappy as that experience always is).

There will be a T-Shirt. For me. My best friend works in the Mac booth, and I told him to bring one of those Mac Genious' T-Shirts along. (He's already got one through work.)
I don't suffer from insanity, I enjoy every minute of it.

You know, I read that as a 17" Widescreen phone!

That's "Jenius".

Looks like no-one is willing to risk pretending to be Philzilla (Oh, and you'd have to carry a bag through Customs for him).

For the Mac Show I predict a temporary influx of new MacNN members.

So who's flying (or not flying as it may turn out) Air France?

The French are always rude

And now for Ibson's tips for having a pleasant stay in France:

(1) Find the French rude? Worry no more! Simply say fous le camp and they'll realize you're politely asking them to speak nicely.
(2) Ooops! Lost your baggage? The answer's easy: run wildly around the airport screaming merde ! at the top of your voice. It's a custom over theresome friendly security staff will escort you away and help you find your suitcases.
(3) Wear shorts and T-shirts bearing Mac slogans around Paris. With the French's high fashion sense, they'll think you're the classiest kid on the block.

I'd lay heavy money on iPhoto being localised for the European market.

That would keep me happy.

My sources say new iBook with a touch screen and revised hinge so the screen can flip around, tablet style.
