I've never had this problem before, i don't know where it's coming from. I've imported my footage, and now i cannot drag clips from the clip side bar to the clip viewer in order to make a movie. anyone else had this problem? what can i do about it?

I've had a similar issue a couple of times. I usually save the project, completely quit the iMovie app (apple+q), then restart and it seems to work fine.

Beyond that, not sure.
