Now I have watched this video and I can see it is using a capture program and then some other program is doing a slideshow.
So let's see if we can name the software.

Go to the site
http://www.markvans.com/
click on the digital photobooth link at the bottom left.
watch the film at the 54 sec point they show the software for a second pause it as look.
What two pieces of software are they using.

Very interesting.
Don't recognise the software but a possible route...
- Photobooth to shoot and capture to a particular folder (although I suspect it's using an external camera and small monitor for subject to view themselves + did I see a separate remote for shutter release??)
- Could you then set Keynotes to replay as a slideshow all images from the folder (so it would update as soon as new images are uploaded)
There may be some use of Automator to automatically move files???

From the screen shot You see a capture program. Don't recognize it.
The back app is doing the slideshow work. As they are only doing a push transition there is noting complicated about that.
I sent an email to the info@ on the website of coarse they have not answered back.
