Hi,

I'm looking for an application that would allow me to transcode video between various formats with capabilities similar to the VCD and MPEG Tools shareware application. For the most part I would like to be able to transcode uncompressed or DivX encoded video to a QuickTime mpeg-4/h.264 format. However, most importantly, I'm looking for an app that does this and is written in such a way that it takes advantage of parallelization via shared memory, so I'm not sitting around waiting so long for conversions to complete. Does anyone have any suggestions for such an application with the aforementioned capabilities?

Thanks.
