The hamsters aren't dead. But they definitely need feeding.

Meanwhile, someone seems to have fed the hampst0rz some super-duper-hyper hamster mix, enabling them to not only drag ’NN back out of its brief hibernation, but also to make sure that everything posted in the intervening hours is now double-, triple-, quadruple-, or (in at least one case) even octuple-posted.

I think we need some outside advice on hamster maintenance here. Our gamekeeper clearly isn’t up to the job.

I had a reply that was sextuple-posted. Can a mod go to this thread and delete my duplicates for me? Thanks!

PS: I don't want to get credit for five superfluous posts. Will these post deletions perform the necessary reduction in my post count as well? Or do I need to submit another request to get my post count reduced by 5?
One should never stop striving for clarity of thought and precision of expression.

Post deletions lower your post count.

Never seen someone worried about their post count being too high before.

Some of us care more about quality over quantity.

Deleting posts automatically decreases your post count. I've been doing some tidying this morning, wiping dupes. But people have replied to yours, with their admiration.

If we wipe your dupes now, their admiration would be unearned. And then we'd have to wipe their posts too, which is unfair - nothing wrong with their posts. This is obviously a Commie plot to deprive people of their posts.

Wish you'd subject your emoticon use and selection to such vigilance.

Seriously, five posts is a drop in the bucket. Your forum "cred" before and after is indistinguishable.
