So I'm very surprised that Apple hasn't released a tablet laptop yet. I wonder if they have plans for something like that or if they have some great reason (that I can't think of) for not making one?? Whats up with this? I know the iPhone is sort of like a tablet pda, but I'm talking about a full on laptop here.

They probably haven't released a tablet yet because other tablets have not sold well. If they do release a tablet, it will probably be one of these "revolutionary" designs that does it totally different than everybody else.

Does anyone know how well the Axiotron ModBook is doing? Can't say I've ever actually seen one.

Personally, I would love to see a "MacBook Touch" that is basically a convertible tablet MacBook Pro. The ModBook idea is cool, but I find it impractical without the ability to use it like a "traditional" laptop.
It wouldn't be too hard to fit it into the lineup as one step up from the MacBook Pro. Apple could just charge an extra $150-200 for the touchscreen and the gears in the case to allow it to "swap" between tablet and laptop.
And yes, it probably would incorporate some sort of "revolutionary" design we haven't seen yet, and it probably won't use a stylus (haha).
