Seems cool, but I don't think I'll get it as I'd rather have it for 360. I'd rather play on a big TV rather than my macbook, because you have to stand a good ways away and play with the guitar for the full experience.

Although the only advantage I could see is taking a guitar with you in the guitar case and your macbook in your backpack and have "guitar hero to go" but I don't ever see that being useful...

Is anyone going to get it on a game system and mac? The only people I see this appealing too are people with big iMacs or MacPros without actual game consoles.

Title should be "coming to mactel" instead, for the sake of accuracy.

I can't wait for it to come to the Mac. I have it on PS3 and love playing the game.

I cant wait for it either. I have the TV hookup so it shouldn't be a problem for me. I am a little concerned with the system requirements though - hopefully it will work on a MacBook with its crappy integrated video card.

Looks like the release date for the Mac is Oct. 28
Amazon.com: Guitar Hero III: Video Games

Hopefully it will work on a MacBook but I doubt it with the PC system requirements that were listed on the site.
