I had a few questions on the iPad, and one of my primary concerns of the device is it's support for files and file transfers, and was hoping to get a few answers here.
So far, i've heard that document transfers are handled in iTunes on a per-app basis. (correct me if im wrong)
Here are my questions:
1. How easy is it ? is it unnecessarily complicated ?
2. Does it sync the docs with the files on your computer ? when you edit the documents or is it like copying documents to external media ?
3. If i plug in the iPad into a different computer, can i transfer the documents to that machine ?
Cheers

Daring Fireball: The iPad
The most puzzling omission is that the iPad doesn't do save-as. It saves automatically, so if you change you composition and type over it, you can't go back. You really, really need to remember where the most recent version of any doc is...

I have heard that Google has a free app that allows you to access Google Docs online. Has anyone used this app?

All it really does is direct you to safari to view the docs in a browser. You can set up your login info in the app to make it a little quicker to access your docs, but you don't really need that app to use Google docs.

You can just go to docs.google.com and do it. The app is just a pointer to that very same URL.
You can't edit docs on the iPhone/iPad yet.

Box.net, DropBox or GoodReader can do the job
But i prefer GoodReader, becasuse it is also an all-in-one reader application with some great customizable features, usb or WIfi file transfer...
