When you've got 2025 songs, it takes a while to build up multiple plays
And yeah, I wanna hear "Shortcut to Moncton" too. Upload, upload!!

Hahaha...Yeah, I've got 1400+ songs as well. My LOWEST in the top 25 is a tie for 29th.

Upload, huh? Well. It's 7 minutes and 56 seconds long, so it'll have to be 128kbps in order for it to fit on my web space. I'll get on it and post the link in a second.

hehe...

i actually have so much music that is so rarely listened to that i have a smart playlist called 'Unplayed' that lists all songs with playcount=0, and shuffles through them. it's down to like 1400 now ('course, i have listened to them, just not since the release of itunes 3).

on my powerbook, it's
Nirvana -- You Know You're Right (20)
and on my desktop it's
Underworld -- Dinosaur Adventure 3d (11)

this thread is just more proof that iTunes is the greatest damn piece of software ever invented.

I was getting an error message a week or so ago that my iTunes playlist was corrupted so I trashed it and reloaded all my mp3s. Therefore, none of them are showing more than 2 plays. Ten songs are tied at that number. Etta James' "At Last" sorts out at the top. The song in my sig has 2 plays too.

No problem. If you like, check them out. They're one of the better Canadian bands, and were going to be "the next big thing" when a singer change, a label jump and a rather non-commercial following album lost a big of momentum.

Their first album was Dig in '93, then Scenery & Fish in '96, then Blue Green Orange in '99. Their new album, the Quicksilver Meat Dream, is due out April 8th.

My favourite band of all time. Highly recommended.

Dave Grohl is NOT part of QOTSA. He is the Foo Fighters, of course.

He toured with QOTSA for a while, but they've always had a rotating persona. Drummers (and guitarists) come and go, while Homme and Oliveri are the two "main guys." Homme likes it like that, keeps things fresh.

In my library of 3,000 songs:

Shostakovich - Piano Concerto No. 2 Mvmt 1 played 7 times (probably because I'm learning to play it at the moment).

Rachmaninoff - Piano Concerto No 3 - All 3 movements played 7 times ('cause it's a badass concerto).

Various Debussy pieces are also high on the list, as are some assorted Beatles and other non-heavy-metal Rock songs.

But I like to skip around my 16 GB library, so it's hard for any one thing to get a lot of play time.
