I just got back from the CambridgeSide Galleria near Boston, MA and they were handing out dogtags as the 'free gift'.

No Tshirts.

Is anybody else annoyed? I was hoping to add another tshirt to my collection...

Oh well.. at least I got Panther

.....
If only Apple would sell stuff with their logos and such on them... for cheap...

Panther didn't show up at MacHardware in KC. Shipping error. Party cancelled as well. Bummer.

Drove to MicroCenter. About 40 people trying to get 30-40 copies.

They gave out a free Macally 64 Mb USB Flash Drive! And a Panther mouse pad.

Installing on my PB now. Will install shortly on this iMac.

I bought mine at CompUSA and they gave out free OSX mousepads. They did not pay any attention to them so I took four to give to some of friends.

I got a t-shirt when I picked up my copy of Panther this morning in South Australia.

Shirt is black, Apple logo on the front, a large "X" on the back, and above it the text:
Mac OS X version 10.3 "Panther"

Yeah I got an e-mail saying that if I bought Panther at an AppleCentre (in AU) I would get a free T-shirt. Too bad I had already pre-ordered it. Even worse is it did not arrive on Friday but a set of 5 Apple DVD-R's that were shipped on the same day as Panther did arrive. Weird.

I've got a 1600x1200 copy of that second picture I'm thinking about making into a desktop background..

Gotta support the local Apple resellers.

I have a Panther T-Shirt, Panther mouse pad, and free cake/cookies/alcohol.

From the apple store pictures, and the overall crowd at the reseller, it definitly looks like a lot of people came out for these events.
