Sounds prefs problem with USB speakers

	When I plug earphones into my PowerMac G5, I'd expect it to mute everything else and use the earphones. It used to work like that, but recently it just carries on playing the sound through my USB Harmon-Kardon Sound-sticks and I have to manually select them in the Sound preferences. I can't see how to change this behaviour. Anyone have an idea? Thanks, Chris
