Avoid suggestions of using Yahoo! Pipes to create a mashup of dozens of feeds...I am trying to find one that provides the most thorough, most complete mac news, reviews, etc...without requiring that I read 500+ items each day...

What would your pick be, if you could only pick one?

Is the RSS feed as bad as the main page where you can't see the full title of the article? Really ticks me off that does.

The 'NN feed is pretty good. It shows full article titles plus descriptions.

MacNN is the only Mac news feed I take anymore. TUAW gets on my nerves, but they do come up with some gems from time to time.

Ever try a Google news search feed?

TUAW. It used to be MacMinute but they closed down.

Way back in the day it was MacNN, but ever since they got bought out and changed the layout it hasn't been the same.

infinite loop's writing is more fun to read while macnn can be press-releasy

For a bit more insight, try Ars' Infinite Loop: http://arstechnica.com/apple/

I can't really live without Daring Fireball though. I also subscribe to the Macworld feed for more general news and reviews.

Daring Fireball would be my preference.

However, it depends what you're after. DF gives you a small selection of important stuff, often cross-referencing a few different sources, while something like Macworld or Infinite Loop gives you more content and covers pretty much everything.

I have about 50 Mac-related blogs in my subscriptions list, and often the ones that are only updates once a week or so are the most interesting. Don't rule out aggregating
What the nerd community most often fail to realize is that all features aren't equal. A well implemented and well integrated feature in a convenient interface is worth way more than the same feature implemented crappy, or accessed through a annoying interface.
