BitTorrent, and:

Victoria: 125 Gigs
Portland: 167 Gigs
Sacramento: 112 Gigs

Nice gesture, but I'm sure not going to be downloading over 400 GB (or even 100 GB) of unedited video.

You don't have to. It's for the people that want to edit it themselves and then share it. Think of it as open source concert footage.

I hope other bands start following their open source ways. I'll probably download one to check it out.

That's exactly how I think of it - open source. It's nice that it exists, but 99.9% of it is useless to 99.9% of the population.

However, eventually, someone will take that 0.1% of the interesting stuff and put a nice GUI around it and then the rest of us might become interested.

Wow! Thanks for posting this. I'm a big NIN fan but I'm not going for this download just yet. I'm waiting for the smaller, edited versions to come around. I just don't have the storage space. Well, that and my powerbook isn't up to the task of handling those video files.

Note to self....I need a new computer!

Somebody please keep one of those shows in HD, able to fit on a DL DVD (as a data file) and perhaps in a format compatible with a PS3. I'm not sure if that's all possible, maybe I'm asking too much, but that would be amazing.

Maybe a nice project for someone with a shiny new 17" MacBook Pro and iMovie '09?

Most of one piece is done. I've been watching what I can with the gaps in it (ugh) and it's pretty damn good. The audio seems to have come right off the soundboard.
