I personally found the Apple tutoria to be woefully inadequate. I have ordered two books, not yet released, which I hope will help solve the problems I am having with rendering and encoding errors.
This version is flying in the face of typical Apple symplicity.

I agree.
Do any of you know how to make a menu screen where it points to 3 or 4 eps?

Hmmm. I fit about 7 different shows on a disc with idvd, and it displayed them on two screens (4 on the first with an arrow to the second with showed the other 3).
If I recall correctly, it was a simple matter of just dragging the movie files to the idvd window. (i can't check right now as i didn't use the system restore discs after reinstalling panther, so no idvd)

I just need a basic "blueprint" on how to go about putting these shows on DVD. They are about 20-25 mins long each. I'd like to be able to fit 3 or 4 on a disc. I'm a newbie at this, so this is my first time.
I'm a dvd-creating virgin.
