I am a graphic designer/photographer... i am on a 17" powerbook G4 1ghz... about 6 years old now... I am in need of a new MBP soon. Was wondering how well does aperture run on a new MBP? Is it very fast?

Yep, runs well on my MBP 2.33, so I'm sure the newer MBP will do even better.

Depends on how heavily you use it... it's no Mac Pro, but it's the fastest mobile Aperture platform.

Aperture runs great on my 2.4MBP Penryn, especially since upgrading to 4GB of RAM.

I run Aperture on a 2 GHz first-gen ProBook and I'm very happy with the performance. Make sure to put in 4 GB RAM and you're all set!

I don't suffer from insanity, I enjoy every minute of it.
