Hey all.

I am trying to join 2 line segments but I cant get the desired effect I want. I want the stroke to go all the way AROUND the endpoints, and I want the endpoints of the line to be horizontally flat. How would I achieve this effect? heres an example.

I want it to look more like this.

except the stroke going all the way around the edge of the endpoint.

take your stroke, make an outline of it, and adjust the angles. You can set the endpoints of a stroke to be rounded, etc, but I think for what you're doing you really need a shape.
