Jimmy Dean was rappin' country long before hip hop was dream in Kanye West's mind.

Not surprising, considering your beef based moniker.

Haha, yeah I've honestly never had any of his products, but I like the marketing.

I tried the blueberry pancake/sausage thing once, it wasn't that bad.

I just love how they felt the need to add a subtitle ("Pancake batter covering a sausage link") just in case you didn't, you know, get it.

Maybe I haven't fully recovered from the previous evening's festivities, but what is wrong with the name Dean?

Must be a southern thing. I hear they love sausage down there.

That makes sense, I'm sure the Dean products pale in comparison to the real thing. Especially the pancake sausage with chips.

Gracias, osiris. I haven't really been gone; just a busy summer. Made two or three comments in gaming threads.
All of my schoolmates apparently microwaved the Jimmy Dean sausage biscuits for breakfast. Maybe it is a southern thing, but I was probably called Jimmy Dean 1,000 times.
My brother had it worse; his name is Jeremy. They actually announced him before a few basketball games as "Jeremy Jimmy Dean Sausage." He didn't care though. He just tied in some anatomy jokes and moved on.
Anyhoo, sad to hear Mr.Dean passed away. In all honesty, I didn't know he was still alive. I figured he was much older than he turned out to be.

I see your first sausage joke in this thread didn't get any love. That's a shame.

The first joke was too easy. I expect better of Dakar.

I've never really liked Jimmy Dean sausage, on a biscuit or in gravy. Must be the seasoning, it always tasted "off" to me. Swaggerty's is the best in these parts, and I've never tasted better.

The best sausage is deer sausage (deer jerky is even better).
Sausage and "jerky." Consider yourself teed up, Dakar.

When I was still a carnivore I loved deer, but never had deer sausage. Hmmm, bambi breakfast links...
