Can I get an iPhone, and my family get some phone other than an iPhone, without having to pay the high costs of the iPhone family plan? ($129.00 a month) so what I'm saying is, get the at&t family plan for $69.00, and then I can pay an additional $30 a month for the data plan for my iPhone? I mean, if my parents aren't going to get an iPhone, no point in them paying higher costs for a plan that they won't be using.
does at&t allow for that?

I would think so, that is the type of setup. I had with my first generation iPhone.

I think it's going to be $39.99 + $30 (iPhone data) + $20 for the second line=$89.99. Well, plus whatever activation fees, taxes, etc., come to. Hopefully under $100 after everything is said and done.
