I don't think there is an adult on the web that hasn't viewed porn. Willingly or not.

I dono, the objectification of women... or men... if you can stop that and look at people as people and see the fact that many of the women... or men... in this industry are doing it not because they want to or feel it's their calling in life but because they're desperate. Or you could continue wacking off and looking at these women... or men... as objects for your pleasure and nothing else.

Try doing it in a way that allows society to sustain itself. So far, all attempts have quickly degenerated into totalitarianism when the people realized that most of the stuff which needed doing wasn't actually getting done, because nobody wanted to do it.

Would the ISP also be able to block pr0n from Kazaa and such? Some pr0n clips are just numbered like 02.mpg and 02-30-03.mpg but the reason they turn up in search results is because they have special ID3-like tags on them. How could ISPs possibly block 02.mpg?

absolutely not. that's the strawman which is always put up, but name me ONE SINGLE highly technological and organized society where this was the case!

no, my friend, that argument is done. a society could easily "sustain itself" if organized correctly. technology could take care of the rest.

hasn't really been tried yet though. and no, this has nothing to do with communism.

Usenet is the way to go.

Might be a good opportunity to trial Diiva Newsreader, which is crap software that hasn't been updated in a very long time, but is decent at downloading usenet porn.

those women could work at starbucks but they don't

they strip and do photography because it nets them thousands for a days work

it fits their personalities and most get used to it and like it

it's the same thing as a woman putting on lipstick to go to the store. they like being looked at and this is just the next step.

[some people are doing it because they are desperate but the US porn industry is regulated and there are rules to follow deemed fit by our nation]

... IMHO, porn, today, almost completely lacks art and erotism: internet porn first of all. It's just another consumer product. Porn should be a form of art, ideally - and especially of the amateur, "experience sharing" kind of philosophy, if one can say so. Sadly, it's just yet another purely quantitative commercial achievement, of lower and lower quality - without any real base, anymore...

Step 1: Put on lipstick.

Step 2: DV-cam Gangbang

--> Sadly, I think there's 1 or 2 more steps in-between.

about $10,000 bucks or more "steps in-between".

it's the alternative for these women rather than:

Step 1: Put on lipstick.

Step 2: Work at Starbucks for $5.85/hour

My ex' felt the same way. I can't stand this general argument anymore. There are people in this world that enjoy being in front of a camera. I'm sure there would be a lot of girls that would do it for no money at all. Now, if only I could meet one of them.

Depends, Suicide Girls continues to be edgy, artsy, and erotic. Fleshbot usually features links to a pretty broad range of erotic work ranging from tasteless smut to artsy photography. I think a lot of the Japanese idol photobook-style work is very artistic as well...the type of thing the PureJapan group scans is frequently both artsy and sexy.

(All links are to google, go scream abuse somewhere else)

I'm hesitant to say what porn "should" be (As long as its being produced by consenting adults and being distributed responsibly). Some like base, artless f**king, some like artsy softcore stuff. There's no harm in it.

If you have seen some of the videos of the "behind the scenes type nature"

the girls are not being abused, they are being treated great and are having lots of fun.

the ones where i have seen from ALSCAN where the girls are being treated like royalty seem to me to be having a great time. you can see how happy they are and how much they like what they are doing. they make out between scenes... they get each other sodas. the producers describe the talent auditioning (which is run by a woman) like they are dying to get in. they also list some basic info of the girl in a written interview... they say things like their parents are fine with it, they love to go dancing, vacationing...

Seems to me they are living a great life and making the world a better place.

You don't know what you're talking about. My best friend (a guy) is 19, and has no money issues whatsover. He buys expensive things like $900 louis vuitton shoes and then wears them to a nightclub. Nevertheless, he got offered to do a porno and did it because he wanted to. He didn't even need the money. I'm sure Jenna Jameson wasn't having trouble trying to make ends meet.

If you're trying to imply jenna jameson is a slut...

she is the one taking advantage of stupid men and has become a millionaire exploiting men's bodies

She might be a slut, and she might not be. All I know is that neither she nor Janine showed up at AVN. I was very disappointed, to say the least. Then some guy told me that Aria was there, so I rushed to the spot where she was rumored to be. Alas, there was no Aria. However, I did get my pic with Ron Jeremy and a host of lesser-known actresses. To set the record straight, I did not meet single porn star today that was unhappy with what they were doing. In fact, many of them were happy to do it for free for anyone that would stand in line for them. Anyway, here's some pics...

me and Ron...

I can't remember the rules for inline images, but by now I think everyone already knew that pics were on the way...

I have a bunch more, but I don't think I could post them up here. Plus most of them have either me or my roomate in the pic, and I know you guys aren't too interested in that.
