I've always been a fan of their music, probably because while growing up I always had their music around me. I never ventured past the staples.

I recently came across their concert in Central Park, and enjoyed every minute of it.I heard "American Tune"(written by Paul Simon) for the first time, and was awestruck by the lyrics and tune.

I highly recommend the concert to Folk/Rock/Acoustic fans. Here's a taste... "American Tune"...

Here's an amazing solo performance of "American Tune" by Paul Simon in 2011: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=06Gmp0Xvm1Q

Enjoy!

What's amazing to see when you watch the video of the Central Park concert is how much Paul hates Art.

Art keeps messing up cues and parts, and Paul keeps shooting him nasty looks.

It's worth it just for Steve Gadd and Richard Tee, though.

Aah Concert in Central Park. even the people selling those J's donated half their profits to the city. Apparently, or so i remember Paul Simon saying on the record.

I remember some event where Simon entertained the possibility of reuniting with Garfunkel.

The crowd went insane.

Simon let the roar die down, gave it a few beats, then said "no rush..."
