One of these

and one of these.

The first one is a 49 John Deere has a 4 speed tranny ( 2 gears and a hi and lo range) In 2nd gear in hi range it hits 35-40MPH hand operated clutch and the ability top pull just about anything it wants to. Two seperate breaks as well so you can spin it in a perfecr circle

The Farmall Cub is newer (early 60s) it has a 3 speed tranny with a foot operated clutch.

Also in the "garage" (big series of outdoor driveways) is my moms '99 Dodge Caravan with the 3.6L V6, Dads '01 GMC Van, old 87 Ford F-150 4x4 with the I-6 and 32" tires and a 4 speed and my Nissan Pickup

We consume alot of gas

What DO I have I have in my garage? Well, I don't even have a garage. But the more interesting question is what WILL I have in my garage? For starters:

-a nice set of tools
-a mill
-a lathe
-a drill press
-a bandsaw or two
-a water-cooled TIG welder
-a 5-axis CNC machine (although this would probably fit better in the basement)
-a flow bench
-a gas welder
-a sander and a grinder
-an autoclave
-a 3200 hp engine dyno
-compressed air lines
-3-phase power
-a lift

Ha! And that doesn't even mention the cars! I'll leave it to your imagination...

well you think thats expensive for junk check this out

thats a Western Electric driver from the 40's the university of Maine ECE department has about 4 of them sitting in one of the storage rooms. My buddy accross the hall is selling them along with a bunch of OX fro WE and Electro Voice hardware.

So far he has sold about 12,000 dollars worth of hardware, and he still has 3 more of those WE drivers to go. also the majority of it went to one guy who paid upwards of 2000 for one cross over.

My buddy is going to come out of this a very rich man all in all he is going to get about a 3rd of all profit he is taking and he thinks that when all is said and done he will have sold about 15000-18000 for the uni, putting him in the 5000-6000, all for selling **** on ebay.

The kicker is when he saw all of this hardware he told head of the dept that he would take all of it off their hands. they were going to give him all of the hardware but he started talking about it being a lot of money, and the head of the dept quickly changed his mind

Lots of stuff, but at the moment, the only item of importance is my 10 hp snowblower. And the can of gas.

I'm going to pull your head off because I don't like your head.

I've got a computer in my garage, but it's only a lousy Performa 630CD.

Don't think the wife would want a Cray taking up the valuable real-estate where we keep our bikes.

i dont have a car in my garage.

i do have
a bunch of laserdiscs (ebay crap)
a honda lawnmower
a weed whipper thing
a leaf blower
some shovels and a rake
a bunch of old paint
apple computer boxes
an old mattress frame
a snowblower
gas cans
other asstd crap

and....no car. i have a weird garage thats sort of in my backyard. i live in a "corner house" and the driveway up to it is off the main road so its not worth trying to put my car in it. i just use the driveway in the front of my house to park the cars.

(a leased 2002 saturn SL1 and a leased 2001 Jetta if youre all interested in cars and ****)

pool table, lots of empty boxes, some table parts, a few computer parts, an old motherboard (I think), a few floppy drives, an old sega genesis, a car, some other random things.

When I toured the pittsburgh supercomputer center last year, the rep told us that they were looking to get rid of their Cray T3E. In fact he said they were willing to give the thing away to a college, but he said nobody would take it because it cost $30000 a month just to maintain it.

One of these, except mine is all taken apart, waiting for warmer weather, cold hard cash, and an extensive restoration.
