Has anyone noticed that when multiple user is turned on the volume on the modem dialing is extremely loud and can not be turned down???? I thought something was wrong with the speakers. They were humming loudly after the internet dial up, but when I disabled Multiple Users and retarted the problem went away. I turned it back on....extremely loud modem dialing. I turned it off again....everything bck to normal. What gives?? Other than that, OS 9 is as stable as any other Mac OS release.

That's definetely strange. At least you can always turn the sound off with the Modem control panel.
