Accessing Hotmail accounts from Outlook Express 5

I was wondering if anyone has sucessfully managed to configure Outlook Express 5.01 to access Hotmail?
I have tried it both from the Mac and WinTel platforms without success. One error message informed me to change the Hotmail password to 8 characters or greater which I did but it still doesn't work. The limited information provided in the error window seems to suggest that there are problems getting the folder list from Hotmail.
Any ideas anyone?

I have used it with a few network errors, but I receive my mail fine. I just added a new Account in the "Accounts" dialog. It was kinda brief -- not many questions -- so I believe the Hotmail integration is behind the scenes.

Worked for me, I had one teeny error coming up with one of my hotmail accounts for a while, but it went away after a while.
