Yeah, the office is a crazy mess right now.... working 6 days a week will do that to you! but, it's a good problem to have.

My gear:
1. AMD Athalon based PC, 2 17" CRT's
2. 12" Rev. B Powerbook (1GHz/1.25GB)- Apple BT mouse & iBreeze laptop stand
3. 200GB external Firewire drive
4. 40GB portable Firewire drive
5. 40X CD-R USB drive
6. Dish network and 27" Tv

Not pictured:
2 gutted PCs
1 G3/333MHz
1 dead 19" Lacie monitor
2 unused scanners
more scattered paperwork!

I felt I should finally join the party since I've been oogling these pictures since I first got my PB in March. I'm hoping to add a dual G5 & 20" LCD next year sometime.

I didn't check the entire thread to see if someone else had the same design already, but I wanted to share my $2.56 Home Depot PVC stand. It matches the apple keyboard well. It's a length of pipe, 4 90 degree elbows, and 2 caps. I used a couple of screws, some rubber tube, and the packing caps from the PB's S-Video cable.

Hmmm...

Kinda looks like the 'iBook' version of my stand (which I guess would be the 'PowerBook' version)...

Except my stand also has a bar that runs across the 'back end of the stand' as opposed to just having the tubes 'capped'.

It's a FireWire hard disk enclosure I picked up at a local computer shop. It happened to have an aluminum case like the PowerBook.

My guess: You bought a Dell a few years ago with the altec lansing THX speakers and now you've ditched the Dell for a powerbook, but kept the speakers....

No worries, it use the same adhesive with what you find in jewelry's store

It won't leave any marks both to the photos and to the display.

It looks gorgeous until you are in class of 30 people and more than half of them have the same Powerbook + display combo

Keep it short: to distinguish which one is mine.

ah yes. that is true. but i've never had a problem with having too many macs in the room. not that many people use macs in my department just yet - and we're never in the same room.

but i do wanna know where to get cool static stickers. i've always wanted to slap something on there (i was just messing with ya..heheh), but i wanna find static stickers that leaves no residues at all.

I'm actually looking for a new desk so I can have all my accessories, scanner, external hard drive, printer, keyboard, etc, right at hand. Anyway, it's a little messy and crowded but I tend to float around the house depending on the work anyway.
Anyway, the iMac is a review unit that has to (sniff) go back on Monday. But now with this photo, I can dream of having one of my own.

This is a computer-generated message and needs no signature.

YOu could try either the Sony Ericsson K700i or the Sony Ericsson S700i. The K700i has that brushed aluminum look that matches well to the PBs and the S700 a smooth silver polished look. Plus, the BT on SE phones are simply amazing.

i only use it on my desk, not on my lap. As an iCurve would set it too high for my liking.
