I got the software .. no problem downloading pictures .. but what about uploading em? Ive got a 512mb card, and want to use it as portable usb stick also =) With other cameras i dont have problems but the EOS 300D doesnt show up on desktop like the others did. It shows up in system profiler and in iPhoto. Is there any way i can upload pictures and other stuff to the card? I want to upgrade firmware also, but cant. Thats basicly the main problem. Anyone experiencing the same problems?

You need to set up your 300D:

1. Go into the menu on the cam.
2. Select the fourth pane (T2)
3. Set 'Communication' to 'PTP'

I must confess that I have never used the USB transfer cable myself.
I have a USB2 cardreader, as the USB 1.1 cable connection is very slow.
