Ever since the 10.3.7 update I've had a weird experience where when I connect my LCD and run in clamshell mode my pointer is non existenent on the screen...anywhere. I could still select, highlight, drag and drop but there is no pointer seen on the screen. Anybody know what can possibly cause this?

I have experienced the same thing too. I have no idea how to get around it. It's really a pain in the neck.

I don't know if it is related....but sometimes after sleep I will open Adium and Safari, and when interracting between these two programs(mostly in Safari) my cursor will disappear. Just thought I would share my experience.(10.3.7 on PB 12" rev C).

I also have a pointer related problem, mine tends to stick or move very slowly every now and again. This is with a cleaned optical mouse.

The only way I can get mine to return to normal is to quit the "SystemUIServer" process in activity monitor.

I reset my PRAM three times in a row (held down the combination of keys till I heard three startup chimes) and then reset my PMU for kicks and it seems like there isn't any more pointer problems, but then again I've only used spanning mode and not clamshell mode so I'm not 100% yet.

iRez, that's funny, you beat me to the post. I just decided to reset PRAM and PMU this morning. Ever since I haven't had the pointer issues. I've only tried it with closed-lid mode however, not with spanning.

I have no idea if this really 'fixed' it, but at least right now it's working.
