OKay.. so I made a real dumb mistake.. I reformated my HD with out backin up some of my pictures..

I have them on my ipod in full resolution, but how can I cheaply extract them from my ipod so I can half the pictures again?

Any one got a good solution for this?

i tried that.. no avail.. I can see the photos when I look under the photo menu... but i cant see them anywhere..

Use disk mode and just manually copy the photos from the iPod to your computer, then try and sort out what is what with thumbnails?

all I see inside of the ipod using finder are files with extension of .ithmb... there are about 5 gigs worth of files in this format, which makes sense kuz that is the amount of pics I have on my computer.
