Does anyone know if there is a program similar or better to Windows Paint? All I have been able to find are programs that you have to pay for. Anyone have any freeware suggestions?

Which do ya''ll think is the best? I think ChocoFlop looks more like Adobe Photoshop, Tux looks like Stamp and SeaShore is a slightly advance paint. I would have to go with ChocoFlop. I still can't believe its free.

I only ran across it the day before I saw this thread.
Someone on another Mac-centric forum had mentioned it in response to a question of the same subject.

Runs pretty good for "alpha" software, too.
The developer is working on it in his free time, by himself, but I've seen in the forums that he isn't totally against releasing it as open source or taking on help to speed along development.
He also seems very receptive to input on bugs and improvement ideas.
I can deal with answering extremely easy math questions to be able to save files...

Lineform is good for vector-based drawing (lines, shapes, text, etc.).

hmmm. so far they are all very cool but I still think chocoflop has the edge. the only thing that worries me is that it is beta.
