Holy.
Sh*t.

And DO NOT post Tron Guy. This is a big deal. Anyone who saw the film in 1982 knows how much influence it had on CGI.

The trailer sounds extremely intriguing, but if it's going to live up to the original, it's *really* gotta push the envelope. Mighty big shoes to fill.

Tron was (and still is) ****ing amazing.

I can't wait, one of my favorite movies. The TRON special edition DVD has a teaser for TRON 2.

The spelling is weird. I would have gone with T2ON.

Here's the trailer. YouTube's pulling them quick, dunno how long it'll be up.

By the way, I'm really on the fence about this sequel. I'm afraid it's going to ruin the first one. Kinda like The Matrix. They just don't need sequels.

Yeah. He's on my Top 5 list of favorite actors.

I'm afraid they'll try to "modernize" the look too much and end up ruining it. Even the teaser showed light cycles moving on curves and skidding as if they were just regular bikes.

Remember that videogames back then only had 8 axis, and even at that, the diagonal 4 were faked based on if two of the NSEW ones were pressed together.

If I recall correctly (and I may not), the original cycles could move on curves outside of the arena area.

But I too hope they don't try to modernize it too much.

Yeah, they moved pretty fluid outside the gaming arena. The grid is what made them go at the right angles.

I was impressed by this trailer (in spite of it being ridiculous in terms of capture.)
I like the TR2N spelling. It makes complete sense in terms of the typeface.

No because the Tron world runs on minimum Geforce 380 Ultra SLI or Radeon H5950 X2.
