I everyone
Just down loaded foxfire and work fine most of the time. It seems to lockup on me at times. I tried the same sites with safari and works fine. I like foxfire becuse it loads the page very fast. Do you think it is my Powerbook G3 or do I need the upgrade my laptop or is there and other suggestions for me

what's the MHz on the G3?

It has 320MB and the speed is 433. It was a 333mhz. Now it a G4. Do you think I need more memory. But why does safai run fine then

Version 10.3.6 and I down loaded firefox about a week ago. No new updates yet. What kind of memory can I put in and do you know the part number and how much will it take. Still new to mac

you should not need more memory if doing basic web browsing, email, and word processing. Recommend more if video or photo guru (which, if you are, should probably not be on an old machine anyway).

Should have memory types at techworks.com or crucial if you really want to upgrade.

You should download and use a firefox extension called adblock. Block a lot of ads, especially animated, javascript-based, and flash (.swf). This should reduce the strain on firefox.

Just down loaded the adblocker and it seems fine. Thanks for all you help. Also do you know the max memory I can install in this machine? (Powerbook G3 Wallstreet)
