made this for myself the other day because I wanted a fancier-looking theme that had full support for incoming text/background colors. So all the shadows are transparent png's. I posted it in the Adium forum and it seemed to get a good reception there, so I thought some of the people here might be interested too.. no other color variants yet but its something I might try and do.

edit: I made the box for the screen names a little shorter, made the shadow behind the screenname a transparent png so the base color there can be customized, and added 14 color variants!

and yeah, I've been thinking about making some variants with other/more neutral colors. don't know if I'll get to it today, but hopefully by the weekend
