Thank you for visiting my thread. I'm not showing you a picture of my most loved beach. Just the view out my window at work. : )

IceEnclosure. I. Hate. You. Nothing personal, mind you. It's been 102ºF here for about 10 days in a row. I've heard of this thing called "rain," but it's hard to believe in "water falling from the sky." Phaaa. Like that happens.

My view at "work" is a bunch of 20-something women (can't touch! classmates, you know!) and some very interesting instructors. No pictures...

Seems silly to post a picture of a generic, Herman-Miller cube wall. And a whiteboard.

I'm living the high-life.

What do you think gets used more-- the DS Lite, or the Thinkpad? Hah. And through the bullet-proof glass (top left) is a few dozen servers and do-hickies.

Well, I'm just setting up the 17" MBP, so that plus the FW HD and the dead 15" PBG4 it's replacing take up a lot of space, so once those are gone, I've got more space.

I'll try to take pictures of the restaurant where I work.

It's a chic restaurant in Outremont, Montréal.

It's generally full of beautiful, hellishly rich milves interested in the staff

My office is a utility body truck that I drive 1000+ miles/week all around New England. So, taking a photo outside my office window is pretty tough. However, the scenery changes by the minute, so it's not all bad

I used to work for Lockheed (nuclear research) -- they are very strict about the no camera policy. How do they deal with cellphone cameras?

Actually I think one of our Mac towers is domain. The Dells do DHCP, Microsoft SQL for some 3rd party applications, and web (we still have some stuff that's ASP). We also have a few of the 3rd party applications themselves running on the Dells.

Actually we have two more in box, and two more currently mobile. They'll all be coming home in a bit.

We'll be buying some Intel XServes I'm sure when those are available. We're toying with the idea of moving our Dell servers into VM's on Intel XServes.
