You can't post attachments period, you never could.

Demonhood used to get that box. One might speculate that there are 20 MB of messages waiting for him, once the box is fixed. That could take awhile to go through ...

Attachments are turned off for everyone and will remain so. Unless someone is willing to provide a hu-FREAKIN'-mongous server to MacNN (free of charge of course) to host all the attachments, I don't see this changing. Ever. Attachments take up a huge amount of server space, and our system maintains ALL posts, so allowing attachments would require progressively more and more server storage. Not happening. If you want to show anyone anything in Marketplace, host it somewhere and link to it.

I seem to recall him saying once that that account would get upwards of 10,000 mails every day—I think there’s more than 20 MB worth of unread mail in it by now...

I tried to send a simple email requesting a post change, got the same message.

it's currently downloading around 21,000 messages. once it's done and sorted thru all the spam, i'll clear things out so people can send emails to admin again.
