But that's ole Newt for you. And that's why I've never taken him too seriously. Because even though he was spot on with his recent comments about racial issues given his track record I knew it would be a matter of time before he said something stupid. Now usually that takes the form of typical dog-whistling like calling Obama a "food stamp president" and what not. But he really went off the deep end with his latest "proposal". Maybe he was just trying to "out-Trump" Trump in order to bolster his VP nominee chances?
