For as long as I can remember I have been using Fireworks for web graphics. The recent acquisition of Macromedia has prompted a return to PS for web imagery.

Well, I am having a hell of a time. Things for vector shapes just seem needlessly fussy in PS and slicing is also less than behaved.

PS works so well for photo imagery, but when it comes to ground up graphics, I am at a loss with it.

Am I alone in this? Perhaps I just need to get used to it.

So, for web graphics, what do you use?
