I just setup internet sharing for dialup (yes dialup!) And it does work but it seems to just stop working randomly and everytime i disconnect and reconnect i must restart the internet sharing. Anyone know of a fix for this?

Use a third party utility to configure the file sharing--not Apple's built in stuff. I believe what you are describing is the normal behavior for the Apple setup.

Idunno. I haven't done this in years. Search the network forum or VersionTracker for a software router.

IPNetRouterX was an option last I checked. Flying Buttress may do it (previously known as Brick House).

Aren't there routers with built-in modems?
