I would like to know what is the best method for installing MySql on my mac so I can use it with DWMX. After many attemps that still wont work. When, in DW I try to connect to the database there is always an error (404 I believe, file not found).

Where can I find the best description on doing so

Please help

*there seem to be many ways of installing things and I think there lies the problem ( strugling for weeks now)

Once installed MySql needs to be started. Some installs do not set it up to auto start on boot. Read the documentation that came with the version you have installed. It should explain how to start MySql.

It's when I press select that the errors come !

when you press select one is supposted so see a list of installed database....
