My stepbrother has been complaining that his computer is slower than normal. He wasn't dangerously low on disk space, and he has plenty of ram for the things he does. So I opened the terminal and ran "top". At the bottom, under kernel_tas, there was another thing running called "idle_threa". It said it was using 88% of the cpu, and it had a PID of 0. I was wonder if this is normal (it's not on my computer) and how to fix it if it's not.
Thanks.

"idle_thread" is just idle. It represents how much CPU you're not using. I don't think it's the source of the problem
