Wow! that's some impressive setup. You have a LOT of computers (and I thought I
had a lot of them lying around useless) - do you use them all ? And how do you use them -
work, play, gaming ?

Looks like mission control at NASA. You should put Matrix screensavers on all of them.

MacBook Pro 2.13 (specs in sig)
External 80GB... backup/media
Apple bluetooth Mouse and keyboard.. (love these)
60GB iPod video,
2GB iPod Nano,
front row remote
HP Officejet 7300

it's fun, I haven't needed a desktop in years.... the only thing I wish I had was an LCD (ACD 23" would sufice :-P ) so that I can have a normal display to look at (as well as having dual displays)

Got my 'faulty' PowerBook today, I swapped the RAM for the hell of it and it seems to work fine Happy camper here. Mobile phone picture I know, but the quality isn't that bad.

I am now evaluating my current set up and I would be selling my Ti and 15" PB shortly. This will open up 2 slots on my desk. I would keep my current iBook (which is still under 2 more years of Applecare) and 12" PB (which is also about 2 more years of Applecare).
I would get Mac Pro after I go through that change, along with one extra ACD (maybe 30").
My Ti PB was my first Mac and I don't want to part with it. But, technology changes and my desk space gets smaller.

2.16GHz MBP, 2GB RAM, newly-added 22" Acer LCD (replaced a crappy 19" AGM LCD). Not seen is a 250GB LaCie USB hard drive, a Firewire LightScribe DVD burner, and a few other USB/FW HD's.

I got MacBook Pinga back in May, just three days after they were announced, but I hadn't got around to taking any photos until earlier today. This is the setup in my university's halls of residence:

Not the nicest of desks, but it's what came with the room. And yes, that is a Nintendo WaveBird sitting up front...

An old style, white Apple Pro Keyboard, 19" 1280x1024 BenQ FP92G display, and a trusty Microsoft Wheel Mouse Optical. The speakers are nothing special, just a pair I had lying around for the past few years and figured I should use as it was a little disconcerting having sound only on the right side. The mini-stereo extension cable beneath the display means I can swap to headphones instead of said speakers much easier than having to reach around the "back" of the MacBook.

The MacBook itself, all closed up and not being used as a portable computer. When I take it to class / home for the holidays, then it is a notebook, but not in my room.

Every single hole is filled...

A 500GB SmartDisk CrossFire hard drive and a tiny little powered 4 port USB 2.0 hub that has the keyboard and mouse plugged into it. I use the end port on the hub to connect either a Miglia TVMini or a 1st generation iPod shuffle, as and when I need to. Because it is a powered hub, the iPod charges even when the MacBook is asleep.

A white Nintendo Gamecube, beneath my desk's drawers, connected to the KWorld DVD Maker USB 2.0, a £24 doodad that lets me play Gamecube games through the display and speakers via the MacBook...

...the only downside of which is that, because the KWorld thing is so cheap, there are no Mac drivers for it. Windows XP Pro SP2 (free because I am a Computer Science student), installed using Boot Camp, lets me run Ulead VideoStudio Plus 10 and then all is well.

My MacBook is the sole machine I use and it is dang fine. Good little MacBook.

Hey all, I recently joined this forum. I've been looking at it and reading about what you guys are saying about macs. I don't currently own a mac, but I want one so freakin' bad. If anyone knows of someone wanting to sell a 15 inch powerbook or a website that sells them pretty cheap that would rock. pm me or just post it on here, I hop on here every couple of days.

Do you mean the Herman Miller Aeron chair?

They are quite expensive - but there is a more affordable model which is as aesthetically pleasing as the big $$$ one.
