Hey,
I'd like to find some beats. Something like DJ's use to mix with, but something I can just let it play on... you know? They seem to always find really sweet music to mix to. Where can I find it and what KIND of music is it called?

On a separate note, (i make joke!) what's some good music that will help me go to sleep. I'm a bit of an insomniac after my surgeries and I want something to help zone me out and shut me down.
Backups are like guns and condoms. It's better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it.

Theres a radio station(?) that you can listen to through iTunes called groovesalad which is ambient stuff that always send me to sleep. Theres also http://www.ambient-nights.org/ which has some downloadable stuff.

Dunno about 'beats', sorry.

Groovesalad is awesome.

Check out Thievery Corporation. I often run a Thievery station on Pandora, it will give you stuff similar to Groovesalad's lineup.

Groove Salad is cool, but the Drone Zone (also from Soma FM) might be even better for putting you to sleep.
