hi all,
I am a single mac in an xp office. everybody uses outlook and send calendar dates to each other but now i can't read them or inport them to ical. I get an attachment that is winmail.dat, is there a way to make us a happy office again? (a setting in outlook, a program that will let me convert it or something.)

If you all are using Exchange Server you might try this.
If not, don't know.

Weird. It works for me, but not equally from each direction. Going out, from Outlook to iCal it works, but not coming in (from my iCal to Outlook). One is better than none I suppose.
The PC is running XP Pro with Office XP. I'm using Mail 1.2.5 and iCal 1.5.2 with 10.2.8.
As far as I know, iCal uses a universal calendar format. And there are so many settings in Outlook that are hidden in counter-intuitive places. I'm wondering if it's a matter of tweaking the right ones on the PCs' end, but this brings up the problem of asking people to change their setup for your sake (not entirely I know, if collaboration is what we're talking about here), and also the more basic issue of narrowing down what those settings are.
In any case, I know that one half of the equation is possible, Outlook to iCal. Hope that helps.
