Thanks to Blizzard the Havok physics engine has FINALLY been licensed for the Mac!

Mr. Barris, sir -- you guys now offically and totally ROCK!

But only to Blizzard. So we still won't see all those other Havok based games.

Havok licensing fees are too high. The Mac port companies cannot afford the licensing fees for Havok. Only reason Blizzard can is because they have deep pockets.

It's awesome Blizzard is licensing it (Starcraft 2?). I'm just repeating what Macsoft and Aspyr have stated in the past.

Honestly I doubt that is the reason. Havok licensing cost for Mac was rumored to be around $100k. I bet even Blizzard will think that's ridiculous.

Jumping the gun, anyone?

So blizzard have a licence for it, all that means is blizzard games will continue to made for both Windows and OSX, just like they always have been.
