Where did all the normal stuff go? I was looking around for a normal toothbrush and all I've got is this sculpted plastic work of art with "extra reach" and blue racing stripes.

My challenge... help me find a normal, nothing special, square toothbrush that when somebody looks at it they say... "That's one boring toothbrush!"

You could make one yourself out of cardboard and pipe cleaners. That would be pretty cool.

That's like asking for a normal new cell-phone these days...just one that can take calls and make calls without all the bells and whistles.

Good Luck!

I've found them. They are usually 3 for $1 at a dollar store and last for about a week.

What is wrong with the fancy ones? Think they will turn your teeth gay or something?

Man, you really ARE a broken record. Could that chip on your shoulder get any bigger?
One should never stop striving for clarity of thought and precision of expression.
I would prefer my humanity sullied with the tarnish of science rather than the gloss of religion.

Mmmm...chips, breaking-record...

--Topic!:

Just pick any "fancy" one with softer bristles. Buy the cheapest if it makes you feel better.

If this isn't for teeth, but for cleaning, do the same except go for harder bristles.

Ah ha! The dollar store. Excellent. I'll check it out.

As for the new tooth brushes making my teeth gay... I guess you could say I just have a fetish for normal things. Like waking up in the morning and having a normal day. That would be totally excellent.

(I'm assuming you're using the new definition for "gay" meaning homosexual and not "happy". Yet another example of something normal, in this case a word, taken and twisted in to some other meaning.) - No this does not mean I hate gay people.

Maybe you didn't notice the fact that they last about a week.

So, what is normal? "Normal" toothbrushes were only "normal" before the standard Reach came out. Now all are normal-enough permutations thereof (if you want out of the norm, you get an electric, but even those are common enough). Normal depends only on time. In this case, you're being needlessly backwards.

Actually I really like the simple lines of the old square Oral B toothbrush. Very simple elegant design.

you could just as easily say that the one button mouse is.... Well, maybe we just shouldn't go there

As for what is "normal" I probably don't really know nor really care... but it would be good information to know none the less.

Ya but the things is they don't work that well. They can't reach the back/side of your mouth that well, don't massage the gums (prevents gingivitis), the bristles are too dense and all the same length etc.

It isn't a fashion show, it is about cleaning your teeth and even the cheap modern brushes do an amazing job at it.

Plaque is a figment of the liberal media and the dental industry to scare you into buying useless appliances and pastes. Now, I've heard the arguments on both sides, and there is nothing to convince me of the need to brush your teeth.

My sig is 1 pixel too big.

I use the tooth brush my dentist gives me every 6 months. He brews beer.

I use Arm and Hammer toothpaste. Non-whitening formula. My dentist brews beer.

This thread is gay.

my gf's parents have been using the basic flat toothbrushes with the simple fluoride toothpaste ( Colgate or something ). since the dawn of time (before I was born anyway). No tarter control, no fancy whitening crystals. They have the whitest healthiest teeth ever. No dentures, no cavities, root canals. Just floss and brush and that's it.

He might be. I'll ask his wife. Brewing beer certainly can make one quite happy.

Mine gave me beer. Yes, it was in the waiting room. No, it was not for drinking in the waiting room. Yes, I also gave him beer as well. Yes, I also thing the "No" and "Yes" before the last few sentences wasn't really as creative as it initially appeared in my head.

Cuz you're not gay. Just like only Mexicans can make jokes about Mexicans.

Are you a gay Mexican? If you are then you can make fun of gay Mexicans.
