I have two Apple TVs and I have Cyberduckra. I have tried to configure two separate FTP addresses, but naming one ATV AppleTV2. This does not work,,,,so how do you do it?:

I assume you are talking about a patched ATV ?
What did you use to patch it ?

I used ATV Flash. Works pretty well except for this little problem

I might add that both units show up in Itunes and are updating fine.

Well, you could just address them by their IP address. Those are unique for sure.
Also, my patched ATV shows up in Cyberduck via Bonjour, so I don't need to know the IP nor the IP name.

I got the answer on the screencastersonline forum. You just use NitoTV to change the name of the device to AppleTV2 or whatever you want, or as you say, use the device's ip address which is also viewable under NItoTV/Settings
I'd like to find out how I can copy files from an external drive back onto the ATV... the FTP program won't allow me to do this.

SFTP via cyberduck should allow file copies to certain directories. For example I created a movies directory and copy media there.
scp (unix secure copy) works well and faster than sftp.

True. But I'm lazy, and Transmit is so easy to use via SFTP that I just go that route.
