When I start iPhoto 6 (and iPhoto 5 on another computer with the same library), I see a "Loading Photos..." message that never goes away! There must be something wrong with my library, and I don't want to simply import all the photos and lose the keywords/albums/etc.

I tried pressing Command and Option while starting iPhoto, but I got no "Rebuild Photo Library" dialog. All I got was the "Loading Photos..." message...

Any ideas?

You could try deleting Thumb32Segment.data, Thumb64Segment.data, and ThumbJPGSegment.data.

iPhoto will rebuild those thumbnails files when you launch it again. Easy thing to try that won't affect your library at all.
