Does anyone know what this means and the solution ?
/Library/Printers/EPSON/InkjetPrinter/Filter/rastertoescp.app/Contents/MacOS/rastertoescp failed

Using OS X5.5 and Epson R2400, which will NOT work with the Apple installed Gutenberg driver. I'm using the Epson 6.12 driver from their website, intended for the 2400. THANKS, Dean

you're printing from either Preview or Adobe Reader - its a bug with the PDF engine. Open the document in the other of the two PDF apps

I'll try that tonight thanks, though I have the same issue printing a Word document, or photoshop.

Could also be a faulty pdf file.

i cant remember offhand but I think its due to the two different postscript engines in Preview and Adobe Reader

Still not printing after 2 months of effort.
I get the message: client-error-not-found

I've tried various users groups, two IT people, and no luck. Apple says it's Epson, Epson says it's Apple. Just about out of options to try, yet many others seem to print from OS 10.5.5 to the Epson 2400 Appreciate any ideas on my mystery error message. Dean

I used to get the client-error-not-found error whenever I tried adding my Epson printer in Printer preferences. Like you, I could find nothing about how to fix it and add that printer. One of the recent point Leopard updates seemed to just fix it. I don't know which one it was, so I couldn't tell you what you need to do other than just keep updating your system.

download an app called "Print Therapy" and do a full CUPS reset - you'll lose anything related to printing (eg paper sizes) but thats a good way to start fresh
