Don't matter, I'll get it for free anyhow. Adobe sends us atleast one free suite every time a new CS comes out.

Of course they know we will buy 20 or so more off them. I usually get the free one for home.

Man, I thought it was about PlayStation 3.
Bush Tax Cuts == Job Killer
June 2001: 132,047,000 employed
June 2003: 129,839,000 employed
2.21 million jobs were LOST after 2 years of Bush Tax Cuts.

A couple of hours, not days.

Works.

(And for the record, as a software developer myself, I will be buying the final version. But I have no problem with doing this for now since Adobe won't let me use my Windows CS2 license to try the Mac beta of CS3.)

I intend to buy the full CS once I actually have money for it. I have paid for copies of photoshop in the past, and quite frankly this is the only version available that will run on my Intel Mac at full speed. I'm not saying I'm cracking the beta... though I'm not saying I'm not

Wow, easy! And hypothetically speaking, I bet it would work perfectly! And I would never condone it, even for people who only have a copy of Windows CS2 but want the Mac beta for their Intel Mac!

*cough*

I think the biggest problem with the GIMP is that people will always compare it to Photoshop, and for however Stagnant Photoshop may feel some times, it still is a moving target that continues to out pace the GIMP in features, not to mention UI (which some days feels as if they're trying to make worse but whatever.) not to mention Photoshop will always have at least a couple features that someone absolutely needs.
Ahh GIMP you could have been something great.

It works... not that I've gained anything by it except an extended use of the beta.
