Does anyone seem to have to "reset" the disk drive after each restart in order to get the disk icon to show on the desk top? Works fine after the reset, but the next day, back to the reset steps.

Mac rules and so does my iMac DV SE.....iBrad

Have you tried unplugging the USB cable and plugging it back in (without restarting)? This usually does it for me. If you plug a USB device into a hub rather than directly into the computer it tends to time out, and re-plugging it reregisters it with the MacOS.

Thanks for the help. I have tried that and I still have to do it everytime I start up. I just received a letter from Imation Tech. Support and they tell me to delete the Imation Drivers from the system set because MacOS does not need them...they are already there. I did that and restarted. Seems to be doing fine now. Thanks again....iBrad
